How to get Aircel Porting Code (Method 2) 

Go to your mobile network settings and change the network to AIRTEL 2G manually. If you are able to connect to Airtel network, please send the regular PORT message on 1900.

Before that Switch off your handset, remove the SIM card, reinsert it after 2 minutes and then select the AIRTEL2G network manually

For example- if your number is 9xxx9xxxx5, you need to send a message as PORT 9xxx9xxxx5 on 1900. You will receive Aircel port number in next 24 hours.

Please keep your mobile network latched on Airtel network or Aircel network ( if available) to receive the SMS. You can also use this method to receive incoming SMS such as OTP.

Important Update as on 28 Feb 2018: 

TRAI issued circle wise Mobile number portability UPC codes for Aircel. TRAI also directed Aircel to issue UPC codes to all subscribers and inform them via SMS.

The porting code will be valid for 45 days exclusively for Aircel customers. If you are an Aircel customer you need to port out before 15th April 2018.

Aircel new customers can also port out within the above mentioned time frame.

Aircel also requested TRAI to issue directions to all Mobile Operators and MNP providers to allow additional porting codes in circles where its subscriber base is over 1 million for smooth MNP transition.
