You need to click on “more options” i.e. the three dots and disable the plain text mode by de-selecting the same. It takes a couple of seconds for the changes to appear. You might also need to add/load the signature again, in case it was on the Plain Text mode already!

Test Mail

After you have made the desired changes, it is always best to send a Test mail, to your own Email I.d., or to that of a friend and check whether everything is how it’s supposed to be.
