To deal with the emergency and distress situation in India, a public charitable trust under the name of ‘Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund’ (PM CARES Fund)’ has been launched.

Honourable Prime minister of India will be the Chairman of this trust and along with the members including Home Minister, Defence Minister and Finance Minister.

The PM CARES fund accepts micro-donations too as an outcome of which a huge number of citizens will be able to donate with the smallest amount of denominations.

  • RTGS/NEFT

Note: Donations to PM CARES fund will be exempted from income tax under section 80(G).
