How to Scan QR code in Airtel Digital TV?

As we all aware, TRAI has implemented new rules for DTH starting from Feb 1st 2019.

Now you can choose the channels as per your interests and pay only for the selected channels.

If you are an Airtel Digital TV customer, you can select the required channels right from your TV itself with the help of Airtel DTH scan QR code

Here’s how you scan Airtel QR Code in few simple steps.

How to Scan QR code in Airtel Digital tv

Take your Airtel Digital TV remote and go to channel number 998 or 999 in your Airtel Digital enabled TV, you will find a screen which says ” choose your pack”.

Now as per the instructions on the screen start selecting the channels that you want to watch.

You can select from the options such as Bouquet packs offered by service providers or you can choose channels based on genre or language.

While selecting you can also view the total amount on the right side corner of your TV screen.

Once you have all the required channels, you need to press the submit button from your Airtel Digital TV remote.

Now you will get an Airtel DTH QR code as shown in the above image. You can simply scan the QR code by using any QR code scan mobile app.

If you don’t have an Airtel QR code scan app, download the app from google play store or App store.

Now you will receive an option to ‘send SMS’ on your mobile phone, you need to select the option and send the SMS.

Now You will receive a confirmation message from Airtel DTH that they have received your request.

It will take up to 48 hours for the transition of the new selection of channels from Airtel.

Meanwhile, you can continue to watch the channels as per your existing pack.
